At Pecchioli Research, technological innovation drives highly specialized processes for manufacturing precision optical components, tailored for cutting-edge applications in industrial photonics, high-resolution measurement systems, and advanced laser integration.
Our production department is specifically designed to meet extremely tight geometric and optical tolerances, thanks to constant monitoring of environmental conditions. This setup enables us to consistently operate in line with international quality standards, ensuring repeatable performance on an industrial scale.
We continuously invest in advanced systems for optical generation, polishing and centering of the latest generation, capable of operating on glass, metallic and ceramic materials with nanometric specifications. The integration of processes such as sub-nanometric polishing (super polishing) and active centering of complex optics, allows us to achieve flatness up to λ/20 and misalignments of less than 20 arcseconds, even on doublets and complex optical groups. We produce aspherical surfaces up to 420mm, cylindrical up to 200x400mm, spherical and flat up to 500mm

Each production phase is monitored by an advanced metrology system integrated with our digital tracking platform. Our equipment includes phase-shifting interferometers, 3D optical profilometers, high-resolution autocollimators, and computerized interferometric systems to ensure constant validation of optical and mechanical quality.
This setup enables us to issue dimensional and optical certifications compliant with the strictest ISO standards, ensuring full reliability for components used in space, biomedical, and military applications.

We are equipped to process and optically finish not only traditional optical glass, but also advanced materials like stainless steel, aerospace aluminum, sapphire, and technical ceramics such as Zerodur and equivalents. This allows us to operate in projects that require high thermal and mechanical resistance, such as in optical systems for hostile environments subject to dynamic thermal stress or with ultra-stability requirements.
This setup enables us to issue dimensional and optical certifications compliant with the strictest ISO standards, ensuring full reliability for components used in space, biomedical, and military applications.
